Our strength lies in collaboration: we consciously prioritize working together over the competitive antagonism often promoted in our neoliberal society.
Just Gorgeous was founded in 2023 by Berivan Sayici and Luis Javier Murillo. Since then,
we have been working to provide accessible entry points to art and culture — particularly through pop - art aesthetics and media formats rooted in the mainstream — because art and culture can only reach our society if society itself is open to art.

The sitcom "JUST GORGEOUS – Beauty for Dead People"—performed live before an audience and cameras—follows two drag queens, La ’Terre and Babba Gnoushé, as they attempt to transform their beauty salon, which is on the brink of financial ruin, into a funeral home.
Viennese wit and Austrian dark humor meet flamboyant outfits, eccentric styles, and (post-)migrant queer characters. Just as Hans Fädler succeeded in creating a vibrant time capsule for the Viennese punk scene with his 1984 film *Wiener Brut*—immortalizing various performers in an entertaining show—"JUST GORGEOUS" aims to achieve the same for the queer art and performance scene forty years later.
Four distinct episodes of the sitcom were filmed over four consecutive weekends: November 28–29 and December 5–6, 2025. The recorded footage is being edited into episodes that will feature the collective laughter and cheers of the audience. At a time when drag is gaining popularity, mainstream industries are attempting to appropriate subcultural aesthetics through "pinkwashing," and right-wing extremist agitation against drag art and violence against queer individuals are simultaneously on the rise, "JUST GORGEOUS" represents an act of joyful defiance. "JUST GORGEOUS" addresses the neoliberal capitalism in which we all must survive, yet it does so without resorting to an academic or purely discursive level. The miniseries remains accessible and relatable, packaging complex yet everyday themes into an entertaining sitcom in a way that is easy to engage with.

Die multimediale Kunstausstellung Queer Immortality im QUEER MUSEUM VIENNA widmet sich queeren Formen des Gedenkens und beleuchtet unterschiedliche Perspektiven auf Leben, Sterben und Vergänglichkeit. Ihr Tod kann für viele queere Identitäten ihre Auslöschung oder Umdeutung bedeuten. Sie werden aus ihren sozialen Kontexten gerissen und von ihren Wahlfamilien getrennt. Traditionelle Rituale des Sterbens und Trauerns werden queeren Lebensrealitäten oft nicht gerecht.
